These children come from underprivileged families who make great sacrifices to ensure that the child is treated successfully for cancer.<\/p><p>With this initiative, we as an organisation have learnt about several new challenges cancer-affected children face while they try to become self-reliant and independent. Judians who stayed during the early years of the centres are now teenagers and young adults on the threshold of higher education and careers.
