This year’s Mummy MasterChef Contest at our Mumbai centres event was a grand success and the incredible turn-out of the mothers across all centres in Mumbai was heart-warming. The contest was envisioned to foster a sense of team-spirit, innovation as well as learning in the mothers.<\/p>\n
The mothers had been preparing for this competition for weeks, excited to display the regional and indigenous dishes from their states.<\/p>\n
The secret ingredients – the “Hero” of the dishes they prepared were papaya and multi-grain flour. The dishes were judged mainly on three parameters; taste, nutritional value and presentation. What resulted was a breath-taking array of colours and aroma. Exotic dishes on display were papaya and mix-grain halwa (with no sugar!) and palak and papaya parathas & cutlets.<\/p>\n
